SKODA Marketing Person of the Year for 2014 goes to….
Our Marketing Manager Eileen Conlon, has been awarded the prestigious ‘ŠKODA Marketing Person of the Year’ for 2014 beating off stiff competition from all other dealers in the ŠKODA network at the national conference in Wexford last week.
We have been a member of the SKODA family for 13 years. In 2012, we launched the My ŠKODA Loyalty Programme which has since been rolled out across the full SKODA Network in Ireland.
Over the past year, we have been involved with innovative marketing and sponsorship campaigns including our ‘Simply Clever’ sponsorship competition which encouraged participants to call into the dealership and take a test drive on behalf of their local sports club. The competition was run to celebrate Sligo being awarded the ‘European Town of Sport 2014’ and first prize was claimed by Collooney Kickboxing Club.
We were also heavily involved with the Sligo leg of the ŠKODA Cycle series event; the Sligo Champion Sportive. Held in Sligo town in April, this was the first of the ŠKODA Cycle series events and lay a great platform for the rest of the series. Prior to the event, we welcomed over 200 cyclists into our showroom for a ‘Pasta party’ and offered the services of Sports Massage Therapists and Bike Mechanics to participants.
